Towerbrown is back with a 10 tracks album !
After 2 EPs vinyl quickly sold out ("Let's Paint It Brown" and "I Wanna Know"), the fab four frenchies are very happy and proud to present there first album "Count Me Out".
Very happy and proud, because they really did put a lot of work on every songs of this album, to be as good as it can be (only one cover on the whole album, all other songs are original compositions !).
How to describe the music ? This is what Modculture wrote about Towerbrown in 2010: "They have a very authentic 60's sound, the kind of thing you'd expected to be pumping out of a basement club in London in the mid-60's, as opposed to the France Rhone-Alpes at the back end of 2010..."
Back in 2013, the band still have this authentic 60's sound and gives you, throught this album, the opportunity to make a real trip to the swinging 60's.
Leaded by a huge Hammond organ sound, "Count Me Out" will deliver to your ears the best of Freakbeat, Blue Eyed Soul, Rhythm n' Blues, French Beat, Spy sound, Instrumental jerks, Sitar Beat... Basically: 10 tracks of wild and groovy 60's beat !
And to add something more, they invited the French Mademoiselle Rudie, from the band "Les Terribles", to sing a song in French and Miss Izzy Lindqwister to add her incredibly nice voice on one track.
Allready appreciated by a large part of the european 60s Garage/Mod/Soul scene, they allready had the opportunity to play quicky through france, Germany, Spain... with bands like The Morlocks, Messer Chups, Alice Russel, The Love Me Nots, Thee Oh Sees, The A-Bones, DC Fontana, The Cynics... Hope that this record will open the doors for a lot more !
